From Perigueux

Limoges is the start of the RN21 which goes all the way to Spain and is convenient for LA DEVINIE.

  • Keep on the RN21 all the way through Perigueux heading for BERGERAC.
  • Approximately 25km south of Perigueux you will pass a hotel called the Tropicana on your right, followed by a Texaco garage a little further on the same side, and a sign to Douville/Pont St Mamet. The turning is immediately after the garage (as the road bends)
  • Follow this road into Pont St Mamet (do not go to Douville) and in the dip you will come to a crossroads, left to Vergt but you take the right signposted to Mussidan, Isaac and Chateau Montreal (D38).
  • After about 300 metres on the left hand side there are two white posts with red reflectors and a small black and white sign LA DEVINIE.
  • Climb the hill and the gites are first on the right, through wooden gates into the car park

From Bordeaux Airport

  • Take the second exit on the roundabout as you leave the airport to Bordeaux, and follow the green signs to Libourne and Perigueux.
  • Keep following the signs for Liboume and Perigueux and as you near Liboume the signs become blue for motorway A89 to Perigueux
  • Keep on the motorway, taking a ticket at entry and have 5.70 Euros ready for when you leave the motorway.
  • On leaving motorway take first exit N89 towards Neuvic and Perigueux, after about 1 mile turn right and head for Villamblard on D39
  • Turn right by the Gendarmerie and almost immediately left for Douville and Pont St Mamet.
  • Follow the road round through Douville and carry on past Casado until you reach a T junction (the old N21). Turn right and this takes you into Pont St Mamet.
  • At the cross roads turn right onto the D38 signposted Chateau Montreal and Mussidan.
  • After about 300 metres on the left hand side there are two white posts with red reflectors and a small black and white sign LA DEVINIE.
  • Climb the hill and the gites are first on the right, through wooden gates into the car park
